Arthur Broadhurst – Director

Arthur is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an RICS Registered Valuer.He has lead teams in valuations of real estate and machinery and business assets and has more than 40 years’ experience.

The core valuation specialisms are related to insurance (pre- and post-loss) and balance sheet work where Arthur has worked with major industries and in most sectors of the economy including education.

His clients include manufacturers, insurance companies and multi-academy trusts. During the last few years clients have included Warburtons Baking Company, McBride plc, Safetykleen, Vita Group and Scapa Group; Aviva, Royal & Sun Alliance, AXA and NFU Mutual; Royal Northern College of Music, The Kemnal, David Ross and Tauheedul multi-academy trusts.

In the last ten years Arthur and his team have valued in all parts of the United Kingdom and in many other European countries on behalf of UK corporations.

Arthur is fluent in English and German and has a working knowledge of French.

Over the years he has been much involved in valuer/surveyor education including as external examiner.

He has been a joint contributor since 1988 to ‘Valuation : Principles into Practice’ published by Estates Gazette and has spoken extensively at training events and seminars.

He has British/Swiss dual nationality and spends as much time as possible in the Swiss alps.

He supports all kinds of music events, particularly classical, with Manchester’s outstanding orchestras including Chethams Music School. As a former Honorary Consul he is a member of the Manchester Consular Association and other organisations.
